Scientific Temperature Control is More Helpful for Film Blowing Machines

Temperature control in a plastic film blowing machine is crucial for producing high-quality film. Understanding how to regulate the temperature of the machine can significantly improve the film blowing process.

The plastic film produced by the machine is versatile and can be used in a variety of packaging applications due to its excellent properties such as barrier protection, freshness preservation, moisture resistance, frost protection, oxygen resistance, and oil resistance. It is suitable for packaging a wide range of items including fresh fruits, meats, pickles, fresh milk, liquid beverages, and medical supplies. To ensure the machine can properly produce and lift the film, it needs to operate at an optimal temperature.

According to the melting theory of plastics, the extruder screw of the film blowing machine is divided into three sections: the feeding section, the melting section, and the homogenizing section. At the end of the feeding section and the beginning of the melting section, the temperature should be at the viscous flow temperature, as per the melting theory. The viscous flow temperatures for various film blowing resins are as follows: PP (Polypropylene) is between 164-175 degrees Celsius, PE (Polyethylene) is between 105-135 degrees Celsius, and PA (Polyamide) is between 195-210 degrees Celsius. The environment plays a significant role in determining the quality of the product.
